Edith Gallery is a vibrant and dynamic space that showcases the creative talents of students and artists from Whanganui and beyond. As the teaching gallery for design and art programmes at UCOL Whanganui, the gallery provides an essential platform for emerging artists to exhibit their work and gain valuable industry experience. With a focus on fostering innovation and creativity, the gallery offers a diverse range of exhibitions, events, and workshops throughout the year.

The Creative Industry students often featured in the gallery come from a range of programmes, including the NZ Certificate in Art & Design, NZ Diploma in Art & Design, Bachelor of Design & Arts, and Postgraduate Diploma / Master of Design. From visual arts to fashion and textiles, the gallery provides a platform for students to showcase their work and engage with the wider community. When student exhibitions are not taking place, the gallery is open to external artists from within the community, providing a space for local artists to display their work and connect with a broader audience.
